1. I requested to job shadow in a restaurant. In a restaurant, roles can range from dishwasher to server to manager. A dishwasher is responsible for maintaining dish washing equipment, clean dishes and other wares. A server is responsible for greeting and communicating with customers, taking order and maybe even handling cash and change. A manager oversees general restaurant operation and make sure everything is running smoothly.
ReplyDelete2. The Ritz-Carlton Hotel company was formed in 1983. The company continue to expand and grow, adding new properties across United States. The brand was later purchased by Marriott International. Ritz-Carlton was led by president and founding father, Colgate Holmes, alongside Horst Schulze, Joe Freni, Ed Staros and Herve Humler.
My supervisor is Liz Wong. Liz is the Assistant Director of Human Resources at the Ritz Carlton. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Science, Hospitality Management.
3. To get to the Ritz-Carlton Hotel from Galileo, I will ride the 30 bus and walk.
